Scotland Farm Allotments rent - letter 04/08/38
Solicitors letter concerning rent arrangements. Soon after the purchase of Scotland Farm, due to the imminence of the war, all building work on Scotland Farm was stopped, except of military buildings and air raid shelters. The government requisitioned the Scotland Farm area for allotments to grow fruit and vegetables.
